Dialog

Leo Phoenix, Twin Peaks Mission Broker

Hey, dude.

Fort Troy is the south-east corner of Euroria, or so the tourist leaflet says. It's quite a trek there, but if you have come this far, you shouldn't be a tenderfoot anymore. As my grandma says, it's the first thousant miles that hurt. After that your feet are numb. She's out of her mind too.

There is a mission terminal in Fort Troy that has an assortment of jobs in the aera. That's, like, un-cool, but hey, each to their own. It you want something to do, Fort Troy is the place.

  • So how do I get there?

Oh, how to get there. Let's see, first I think you should find the Strenght Keep Lake, and Strength Keep of course. It's provate property, but you can still look at it from the outside. It's south-east of here. You can't miss it. The keep is on the west shore of the lake, but you don't need to go there.

Then go to the east end of the lake. There's an outpost there, and that's your next stop.

  • Outpost at the east end of the lake. Where do I go next?

Then you go south-east until you find the sea. Follow the sea shore south to a bay with gray sand. Just south of that bay, you find Osere outpost. There's a short path south from the bay to Osere.

  • Osere is the next stop. Got that. Next?

Next stop is another outpost. It's next to a small smoking volcano, just weat of a small lagoon.

  • Smoking volcano outpost. Check. Does it have a name?

Not that I know of. It's just one of those anonymous outposts.

Anyway, last stop is Fort Troy. That's straight south from the outpost.

  • And what do I do when I get there?

Oh, the spoiled youth to today! There is a job terminal there if you need any hints of what to do; otherwise, there's the entire plain east of the Cyclops volcano to explore, not to mention the south coast of Eudoria.

Well, that's it. Off you go!

  • Off I go.

Return before the end:

Leo Phoenix, Twin Peaks Mission Broker

Hey, man. Did you find Fort Troy?

Choices:

  • I got sidetracked.
  • Uh, no. I got list.

If you choose 'I got sidetracked.':

Oh. Don't mind me then. Just carry on at your own leisure.

  • Okay.

If you choose 'Uh, no. I got list.' or 'Yes, I need some other directions.':

Leo Phoenix, Twin Peaks Mission Broker

Sorry to hear that. When did you get lost?

Choices:

  • On the way to Strength Keep.
  • Between Strength Keep and the first outpost.
  • Between the first outpost and Osere.
  • Between Osere and the second outpost.
  • At the last leg to Fort Troy.

If you choose 'On the way to Strength Keep.':

Strength Keep is south of here, at the west shore of that lake. The easiest way of getting there is to leave the plaza to the west and immediately head south across the long bridge. Then round the mountain and head to the lake. Be careful, though, since that area is robot country, and you may also find Argonautes there.

Was there anything else?

Choices:

  • Yes, I need some other directions.
  • No, I'm done.

If you choose 'Between Strength Keep and the first outpost.':

Oh, the leg Strength Keep to the first outpost is easy. Just follow the shore to the east end of the lake. If you fell a bit sporty, you could take a swim.

Choices:

  • Yes, I need some other directions.
  • No, I'm done.

If you choose 'Between the first outpost and Osere.':

When you are at the first outpost, at the east end of the lake, just head south. If you look at the map, you should aim at the second bay south of the outpost, the one with a grey shoreline. At its end, there's a small path going from the bay to Osere.

That is Atrox country, by the way, and they're rather feisty. If you can't take them on yourself, have a friend with a bigger gun with you, or be very, very careful.

  • No, I'm done.

When you eave Osere, head south along the coast. You don't need to hug the sea. Just head south. The vegetation is quite dense, so you may get a nasty surprise if you're not careful. As you find a lagoon with grey sand, look west. There's a narrow smoking volcano pretty close, and the second outpost is south of it.

Choices:

  • Yes, I need some other directions.
  • No, I'm done.

If you choose 'At the last leg to Fort Troy.':

There are no real landmarks going south from the second outpost to Fort Troy, except Fort Troy itself. So just head south and be careful, because the area is populated by Atrox. And they are just screaming for tenderfoot for lunch.
