Named after the native, energy absorbing Igni bugs, production of this handgun was started by Omegaton shortly after their onetime rivals Earth Weapon Enterprises announced their return to the Calypso market. With the release of the first L12xx handgun, Omegaton completely replaced the framework that had been used earlier. Visually, there is little difference, but the new frame is lighter and thinner, allowing the developer to fit larger and stronger components without having to increase the size or weight of the handgun.
