Rutol Texture when applied to large areas shows a distinct (if mild)  pattern, but when applied to small areas (such as the fields found on shades) the result is very close to black paint, but a fraction of the price, and with far more avatars able to apply it. This might explain why both rutol stones and rutol textures attract a premium on the open market.
