The former CSF-commander Nicolette D'Armstrong-Down changed career to become an armor constructor, specializing in women's needs. Her armor designs are always very comfortable and easy to wear. This harness, originally a Chikara design has a completely new lining and an ultra-weave that further enhances its durability. The design has won several awards for D'Armstrong-Down, who is something of a celebrity on Calypso. She is also a frequent target of gossip, as she still is single.
