The first suit of Mak'ketta armour was found in an old cache near the ruins of what is thought to be the ancient city of Aakas. Unfortunately it was lost and is thought destroyed, along with any design documentation, due to an Oratan raid on the digsite. The construction provides quite reasonable mid-range protection, and seems particularly suited to the conditions found in the desert areas of Arkadia. Current transcripts from Archaeological Society research teams indicate that this armour may have held some sort of status symbol in the ancient society of Arkadia, and it is suspected that a substantial population may have dwelt in the desert region in ancient times.
